For whom?
Financial support can be granted to natural persons who are survivors of a criminal offence that occurred from 1 January 2010, if they were living in Bavaria at the time of the offence or if the offence was committed in Bavaria; financial support for close relatives is possible
Other requirements
The offender must be convicted by a court or be judged to be not criminally responsible; financial support is granted if the trial has been discontinued, the offender is a fugitive or cannot be identified or a criminal or civil court decision cannot be expected within a reasonable period of time; immediate assistance is possible for important reasons; an important reason exists in particular if immediate assistance is urgently required owing to the circumstances of the offence, the consequences of the offence, the circumstances of the person affected or the urgency of the decision
